Delivery

All orders are despatched quickly from the UK within 1 working day.

UK

  • Standard shipping is only £3 by Royal Mail Second Class.
  • Flat rate for your whole basket.
  • Free delivery for orders over £40.
  • If you need your order faster, Royal Mail Tracked 24 is available as an upgrade at checkout.

EU

If you’re in the EU, please order on Etsy to avoid delays and extra customs charges. Full details here…

Cakes with Faces is fully compliant with the GPSR regulations that started in December 2024.

USA

How to check the shipping cost: Add items to your basket, go to checkout, select your country and click “Calculate”. You can do this before entering any personal details.

  • Standard shipping
    • – Rates depends on size/weight.
    • – Starts from £5.50 for one dress or up to two t-shirts.
    • – Takes around 2 weeks (with tracking).
    • – Orders sent to Alaska and Hawaii take around 3 weeks (no tracking).
  • Economy shipping
    • – A lower cost option for larger parcels.
    • – Takes up to 6 weeks – although it’s often quicker and has been known to arrive in less than 2 weeks.

US Tariffs

Tariffs are paid in advance, at checkout. You shouldn’t receive a bill when your parcel’s delivered. The good news is, some items (eg books and trip planning decks) are exempt from tariffs!

Cakes with Faces does not keep any part of the tariffs; this is completely out of our control.

Import Charges

Cakes with Faces is not responsible for any customs or import charges, or US tariffs.

All Other Countries

  • Shipping is £4.50 for one item. Additional items are £1 extra.
  • Takes 1-3 weeks depending on your location.
  • Cakes with Faces is not responsible for any customs or import charges.

Buying a Gift?

To add a special message for someone, just leave a note at checkout. All items are sent without prices.

Recycling

Recyclable Packaging

All orders are sent in recyclable cardboard mailing boxes. It costs more, but I believe it’s important for the environment. More details in my blog post.

All bubble-wrap, air pockets or filler packaging is re-used from deliveries I’ve received. Re-using is the best form of recycling!

Payment

There are two options for payment:

Credit/debit card

Card payments are securely handled by Stripe. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard or Amercian Express. It’s completely secure and Cakes with Faces has no access to your card details.

Paypal

Payment is handled securely by Paypal. Cakes with Faces has no access to your card details.

  • Pay with your Paypal account, using your account balance or saved card details.
  • If you don’t have a Paypal account, you can use a credit/debit card. Click the grey “Checkout as guest” option at the bottom of the Paypal log-in screen. There’s no obligation to create an account with Paypal if you don’t want to.

  • If you’re still not sure or need more measurements, just get in touch!

Ordered the wrong size? It’s fine to send it back and exchange for a different size. Items must be in original condition. Contact [email protected] for details.

Returns & Exchanges

A huge amount of thought and effort goes into Cakes with Faces’ products and designs, and I hope you love everything you order.

If you order the wrong size, as long as the item’s still in original condition you can send it back and exchange for a different size, within 14 days. You’ll need to pay for the return shipping. Customers in the USA may need to pay for shipping for the replacement, due to the high cost of Airmail to the USA. Contact us for details.

Your items will be packed carefully to keep them safe during delivery, and we cannot be responsible for any damage that occurs to them after posting. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with a photo showing the damage and packaging.

If there’s a problem with your item, contact [email protected] as soon as possible. Items cannot be replaced if damage is caused by wear and tear or washing incorrectly. To qualify for a replacement, you must contact us within 14 days (this is extended for Christmas presents).

If Your Order Doesn’t Arrive

If your order doesn’t arrive, please contact us, ideally within 30 days of your order.

Garment Care

  • To keep your clothing looking brand new for longer, wash inside out at low temperature.
  • Please follow any washing instructions on the label.
  • Do not iron the print.
  • Dresses and leggings should not be ironed (they’re made of comfy, stretchy material that doesn’t get creased).
