NEO Awards 2018
The NEO Awards are run by NEO Magazine, the UK’s anime and magazine. They also cover Japanese music, Asian films and pop culture.
Right at the very start of Cakes with Faces back in 2011, before I’d even started my website properly, they were kind enough to feature my artwork in their “Best of Western Talent” series. Over the years they’ve covered my designs and published a special recipe comic for how to make ramen.

It’s Cakes with Faces’ 6th time being nominated for a NEO Award, alongside much larger companies like Chameleon Pens, Bushiroad and Japan Journeys, as well as our good friends JPU Records and Genki Gear.
