We love making sushi, and an afternoon of sushi-rolling (Sushi Saturday) followed by a feast of maki and nigiri is a fun way to spend the afternoon at the weekend!
We’re new to Vine, the looping mini-video site, and decided to make our first vines about sushi (trying not to get too much rice on our phones!).

Kappamaki
First up: kappamaki (cucumber rolls) – these are the easiest of the monomoki single filling rolls, and good for beginners.
Avocado Roll
Avocado isn’t a traditional sushi ingredient in Japan, and was introduced in the west as an alternative to fatty tuna, for those not keen on raw fish. It’s one of our favourites!
