Cute Japanese Gachapon Video

Cute Gachapon Video

I love gachapon capsule toys from Japan – there are just so many cute and strange series, and they’re only a couple of hundred Yen each. Hunting for gachapon is always top of the list when I visit Tokyo – you can find so many in Akihabara and Nakano Broadway, and lots of other places too. In Akihabara there are whole shops filled with just rows and and rows of capsule machines – you can spend a lot of time looking through them all!

I used to like the anime figure series best, but now I like the series that are random objects and characters, because some of them are just so unusual – I’d love to know how some of them are signed off at Bandai HQ! I guess people buy them because they’re so bizarre…

I made a video about gachapon last year and it’s one of my favourites. There’ve already been so many new and fantastic series since then, that I had to make a sequel. And there were still too many to fit into one video – Part 2 (or 3…?) will be coming soon, so remember to subscribe so you don’t miss it!

T-Shirts from the Video

In the video I’m wearing the Illuminatea t-shirt, which is available in mens sizes and a ladies slim fit v-neck. I also mentioned the Bumblebee Cat t-shirt, which you can get in grey or green, and you can also get him as a tiny phone charm (sold out). I hope you like my designs – there’s lots more in the shop so take a look!
